The 2019 WWP EN Study Visit took place in Helsinki, Finland and was organised by FMS - Federation of Mother and Child Homes and Shelters. FMS is a nationwide child welfare organisation that helps children and families in difficult or insecure situations and is active in domestic violence prevention. The federation comprises 22 member associations working on domestic violence services helping victims, perpetrators and children throughout Finland.

Seven WWP EN members were able to participate in the study visit. They had the chance to 

• exchange best practice with and learn from the FMS team,
• visit to the first ever shelter in Helsinki,
• meet cooperating organisations and experts.
