What is European Accreditation Perpetrator Programmes?

The European Accreditation for Domestic Violence Perpetrator Programmes is a quality assurance process that validates the safety and effectiveness of programmes working with male perpetrators of domestic violence. It ensures alignment with the European Standards for Perpetrator Programmes, grounded in Article 16 of the Istanbul Convention and Article 37 of the EU Directive on Violence Against Women.

Developed by the European Network for the Work with Perpetrators of Domestic Violence (WWP EN), the accreditation puts survivors—primarily women and children—at the heart of perpetrator work.
