Want to become a WWP EN Member?

Who can apply for membership with WWP EN?

You are an organisation

  • offering perpetrator work or victim support,
  • doing or managing research of intimate partner violence and
  • agree with the goals, mission statement and statutes of WWP EN?

Good news! You qualify for a full membership with our network and should get in touch with us.

You are an individual interested in joining WWP EN?

We also offer affiliate memberships to our network. This form of membership is designed for friends of the network, e.g. individuals or organisations who would like to express their support of WWP EN and agree with the WWP EN Goals, Mission statement and Statutes. An affiliate membership does not include a membership fee and enables affiliate members to participate in WWP EN events on their own expense. Affiliate members have access to the members mailing list and the internal area.

If you have questions about the different forms of membership, just get in touch with us and we will provide you with more information.

What can full members expect?

Our membership is a vibrant community of organisations and individuals active in fighting violence against women by addressing those who choose to use violence. Once a year, at the WWP EN Annual Conference, all our members come together to learn and grow - during three, fully reimbursed days in one of our member countries, we exchange best practice in engaging workshops, learn of new and exciting European initiatives, hear about network activities and make decisions about the future of WWP EN.

Another highlight of the WWP EN year is the WWP EN Study Visit. For several days a year, seven member organisations receive an intimate insight into the perpetrator work being done internationally. These visits give them the chance to develop a deeper understanding of the different models of interventions, as well as challenges and opportunities for perpetrator work across Europe.

We are very proud of our WWP EN Webinars, which take place four times a year and introduce our members to cutting-edge research, practical training and expert insights. We also encourage members to use our webinars to share their knowledge with a wider audience - granting European visibility to them and their innovative approaches.

Additionally, we regularly publish WWP EN Expert Papers on important topics around responsible perpetrator work, support our members in international projects and give international visibility through the WWP EN Perpetrator Programme Database.

One of the most relevant WWP EN innovations in recent years has been the IMPACT Outcome Monitoring Toolkit. By measuring behavioural change throughout the course of the programme, including partner input and requiring follow-up questionnaires with both perpetrators and their (ex-)partners, IMPACT offers an extensive and reliable tool for outcome measurement.

Since 2018, WWP EN members are invited to participate in the decentralised European campaign #ResponsibleTogether during the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence. The campaign makes our members more visibile, embeds them in a trans-European context and shows their engagement to a violence-free world.
