The European Network WWP EN organises study visits to single member organisations as a strategy to disseminate detailed and practical knowledge about key service providers in Europe who are working with perpetrators of domestic violence. For two days, the small group of seven participants from different member countries are introduced to the context and working methods of the hosting programme and share their own approaches. Thanks to feedback from earlier study visits, we know that a small group held over two days also enables non-native English speakers to fully engage in a process where all participants are able to exchange a level of in-depth skills exchange that would not be possible in larger groups. Both host and participants are encouraged to share their skills and knowledge in order to reflect and improve on their personal and organisational practice. This is especially helpful for newer programmes and their capacity development.
